the girl behind the brand
how it all started
Bourgeoisie – you are the cause of many sleepless nights, a couple of discouragements and a lot of stressful decisions. But first and foremost, you are the fruit of my perseverance, intuition, confidence and most importantly the project that I am the proudest to share.
The spark that brought you to life was clearly triggered by my undeniable love for horses mixed with my entrepreneurial drive.
Horses are to me like a warm blanket during a snowstorm. The most comforting and forgiving creatures that give you there all no matter what you are able to offer. Being quite an overthinker myself, their calmness and sensitivity have always acted as a soothing and peaceful whisper.
The ritual of driving to the barn by myself, grooming and riding is like a time machine to me. Every time I leave – it’s like time stops for a few hours, allowing my brain to breathe magic air a couple of times, until I get back home.
This speed at which my brain spins on a daily basis can seem a bit hectic – but is also why you exist. Working more than full time in digital marketing – my main expertise – and taking care of you all by myself is honestly quite a challenge. But the little hamster in my head has got more than enough energy and inspiration for – what I hope – you will soon become.

bourgeoisie — the brand
Bourgeoisie’s mission is to enlighten the purpose of every equestrian out there. Riding is for every one, whether you show or you spend your days at the barn only to develop a strong connection with horses.
My ultimate goal when I started building this brand was to make anyone that practices this sport or that has a deep interest towards horses feel as included in the equestrian community as the others.
Owning a horse and competing at top levels doesn’t define you as a rider. Every equestrian has a purpose and fulfilling it is the only achievement that generates pure and true happiness. These creatures have way more to offer than just power and strength — their softness and vulnerability plays a big part in our learning and makes this sport unlike no other.
To demonstrate this concept — I have associated every collection with a storytelling involving different dimensions of the bond between horse and rider.
