Behind the collection
Ève-Sophie Lamarche and her beautiful mare Joy’s — the ambassadors of the crème collection. Here is a bit their story;
My equestrian journey began when I was very young. From the age of two I started collecting toys and horse figurines. I deeply wanted to be around them and when the opportunity presented itself to me, I felt very comfortable in their presence.
It was at the age of six that I had the chance to start my first riding lessons in a pony club and it was from that day that my passion kicked in. Every Saturday morning, I woke up with butterflies in my stomach until it was time to get to the club, and that feeling never went away. Going through lessons from beginner to intermediate, I started my first jumping lessons around the age of eight. I then joined the competition team at the age of twelve, where I had my first pony in exclusive rental. We started together in the 2 foot 6 pony jumper in the regional classes, to qualify for the Quebec Equestrian Games where we won the bronze medal together. We also went out in the 3 foot jumper in the provincial classes and we came out with many ribbons.
Afterwards, between half board and lessons, I gained experience to finally realize my dearest dream; have my own foal. I purchased Joy in 2020 and it was one of the best decisions I have made. We first started in a stable with outings in a small grassless outdoor park and back in the box at night, but I knew that Joy was not at her full potential. After long consideration, we changed stables for hundreds of acres of fields in the mountains and it was from this moment that my mare completely changed.
She now shares her life with her fifty horses in endless fields. I rediscovered my mare and fell in love with a calm, gentle and peaceful mare. My vision of riding changed from that moment and I couldn't go back. From now on, I am proud to offer this quality life to my equine.
