piaffe
Having such bottomless trust in another being to the point of allowing them to control your safeness is the deepest connection achievable. Following them through the release of their inner instincts to feel their freedom radiate by the wind – a true act of nature.

Behind the collection
Jeanne Boudrias and Casper are the ambassadors of the piaffe collection.
I started riding as a teenager and quickly realized that it's a sport that requires a lot of patience and humility. Establishing a deep connection with the horse, my partner and ally has always been extremely rewarding to me. I had the chance to learn from several horses who had very different characters — each of them taught me different lessons. Horseback riding gives such a high level of adrenaline, from one day to another, you never know what to expect. People often forget that success comes from the performance of both the rider and the horse.
I like to think that the bond we have with the horse is essential in this sport — this bond is so special that it becomes a predominant success factor. Horses sense the emotions and understand the connection you have. I had Casper, the horse I currently ride, during the pandemic. I fell in love with him the second I layed my eyes on him. Since then, we have been getting to know each other and strengthening our bond every day and every ride. He knows my qualities and my faults, he teaches me every day to be a better rider and above all, he pushes my limits. He challenges me and I challenge him — together, we trust each other, we are a foolproof team.
I am and will be eternally grateful to have the chance to practice this sport and especially to evolve with Casper. When he looks at me, I feel like I understand him, when I talk to him, I feel like he understands me. Some would say I'm crazy (surely yes!), but the bond we have is deep and sincere. Horseback riding is a beautiful sport, I wish all riders to find a bond of trust with a horse like the one I found with Casper.
